Brave Place Search
VisitFLOW uses Brave Place Search only after authorized clinic staff deliberately run a manual Athena check or select Verify/Refresh Pharmacy. Normal request-queue polling does not call Brave.
Pharmacy identity
The patient's preferred/default pharmacy identity is read directly from the clinic's connected athenahealth environment. VisitFLOW uses the Athena pharmacy name, address, and business phone to match the pharmacy location before trusting pharmacy-counter hours.
Brave receives pharmacy business-directory information only. Patient names, dates of birth, guardian information, visit reasons, Athena patient IDs, and VisitFLOW request IDs are not sent to Brave.
